StealthSwitch II Vista Support
StealthSwitch II Vista Installation Instructions
If you receive a message that says “Failed to Program Device” follow these instructions.
We have a new installer that autodetects the correct version of the OS (XP, Vista x32 x64, Win 7 x32 x64) and installs the proper drivers.
If you have an old version of the Configurator software, uninstall it.
Next, plug in the SSII, install the new Configurator software and set the program to always run as Admin, open the Configurator and press the “Program” button. If it says “failed to program”, you can either reboot your computer or unplug the SSII, wait 15 seconds and plug back in and press program again.
All settings are stored in the main SSII switch so once you have programmed your configuration, the software isn’t required. You can even unplug the SSII and plug it into another computer without installing any software.
For instructions on programming keystrokes, mouse clicks, hotkeys, etc., check out the help file.
Right click on the file and “save link as” to download the updated installer.
